CAST BIOS

LORI ANNE SMITHEY   Assistant Director / "Maggie"

Lori Anne Smithey was born and raised in rural Arkansas. She has acted in several short films and has directed several of her own. She has a BArch from Cooper Union, an MS from the University of Washington, and is currently a doctoral student at the University of Michigan.

Horam Kim, born and raised in New Jersey, began his education at NYU where he focused on creative writing while pursuing additional coursework in directing and photography. He later earned his MFA in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College, studying under Mac Wellman and Michael Cunningham. After college, he moved to the Pacific Northwest and wrote stories and made movies set in the perpetual rain and gray that characterized his then current surroundings. His award-winning short films have been screened at various film festivals across the United States. His writing has been featured in The Vestal Review, Small Spiral Notebook, and Dance Films Kino. I Love You, Apple, I Love You, Orange is his first feature-length film.

Stefan Griswold acted in several short films. He earned his BArch from Cooper Union, where he was classmates with Lori Anne Smithey. He currently resides in Queens, New York.

VICTORIA BLAKE   "Maggie's Mom"

Victoria Blake is a professional actor of stage, film, and television. She currently resides in Portland, Oregon.

DAVID R. LORENTZ   Original Music

David R. Lorentz has played in several klezmer bands in New York City and Wisconsin. He earned his BA from New York University, where he was classmates with Horam Kim. He currently resides in Madison, Wisconsin.

JAMIE COOPER   Additional Original Music

Jamie Cooper is one of the founding members of the musical duo Gravity Couch. He has a BA from Central Arkansas State University, and an MFA from the University of Iowa. He currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
